farHyperopia or farsightedness is a very common vision condition in which you can see objects in the distant clearly, but objects nearby may appear blurry.

The degree of a person’s farsightedness determines your focusing ability. Those with severe farsightedness may only see objects clearly that are a great distance away while those with mild farsightedness may be able to see objects clearly that are closer.

Farsightedness  is usually present at birth and tends to be hereditary. It can easily be corrected with eyeglasses or contact lenses. Some people choose to correct Hyperopia with surgery so they do not have to bother with contacts or eyeglasses.
